An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced stockperson to join the existing team on Islay Estates Company. This role will involve working with a lowground flock of mule ewes, a hill flock of blackface ewes and a pedigree herd of Luing cattle.
The successful candidate will have the practical knowledge and experience required to work with a large sheep flock and suckler cow herd,along with the drive and enthusiasm to work with the existing team to continue to improve performance and bring new ideas to develop the farming business.
It is imperative that you have a good knowledge and experience of livestock farming and are proficient in all aspects of livestock care and management.
It is essential to be honest, motivated and be able to work on your own and as part of a team.
